Re: OUTPUT and UNLOAD Statements

Jorge,
You can run any SQL statement inside a stored procedure BUT for unload, load,
and output statements you need to make a system call and run it through dbaccess
(see SYSTEM command in SPL).
Good Luck.

How can I use the <OUTPUT TO file> or <UNLOAD TO file> Statements in a Store
Procedure on IDS2000.
CREATE PROCEDURE ProcRepo()
Output to '/informix/TextFile.txt'
Select field1
From tblTable1; END PROCEDURE;
Displays "201: A Sintax Error has occurred". And Directly on DBACCESS:
Output to '/informix/TextFile.txt'
Select field1
From tblTable1;
runs perfect. Someone knows what must I do?
