Hey everyone, I wanted to verify some rumors I've heard. 1) Is it true that when you upgrade to IDS 2000 (9.2) you don't have to recompile the 4gl from the 7.3 instance? This would be version 7.2 4gl 2) What is the version of 4gl recommended to run with 9.2? 3) Do you really get a 25% performance improvement? 4) What other headaches should I be aware of? Thanks!

This would be version 7.2 4gl Yes. But you will need to install the I4GL 7.3 software in the 9.2 directory, or keep the I4GL 7.3 INFORMIXDIR around for use at runtime. > 2) What is the version of 4gl recommended to run with 9.2? 7.3 > 3) Do you really get a 25% performance improvement? I haven't done any benchmarking, so I can't comment. > 4) What other headaches should I be aware of?
