dbschema error

Hi !,
Why these dbschema errors ?
the table sysroleauth doesn't exist when a database is created, so:
$ dbschema -d anydbs
DBSCHEMA Schema Utility INFORMIX-SQL Version 7.24.UC5
grant dba to "usadm";
grant connect to "public";
-206 - The specified table (informix.sysroleauth) is not in the
database.
-111 - ISAM error: no record found.
With only a table:
$ dbschema -d anydbs -t anytab
DBSCHEMA Schema Utility INFORMIX-SQL Version 7.24.UC5
-217 - Column (colmin) not found in any table in the query.
Thanks,
Manel

This is an interesting problem. I've had some problems with dbschema in
the past, but never anything like this. I do have to point one thing
out, though. In the dbschema output you attached, it says 'DBSCHEMA
Schema Utility INFORMIX-SQL Version 7.24.UC5'. However, in your
signature, it says 'Informix version: Informix SE 5.07'. If those are
both accurate, I think I found your problem...

I see from below that your server is an SE engine. SE does not support
ROLEs. Is this dbschema from an IDS installation pointed at the SE
engine? That would explain it!
You might try my dbschema clone, myschema.ec, which has many enhancements
and supports SE as well as IDS. Myschema.ec is available in the IIUG
Software Repository in the package utils2_ak, it can be compiled with the
free Informix SDK 2.xx, ESQL/C 7.xx, or C4GL 7.xx.

Sorry, my signature wasn't updated in my first one ... it was
auto-attached from my forté agent.
I must say I have correctly installed and licenced the version
7.24.UC5 for SuSE and this is the only engine on the machine.
But that error happens as well in Version 7.23 for SCO !! you can
download it from www.intraware.com and check it ...

HI !, I found the error. It's related to the variables DB_LOCALE/CLIENT_LOCALE (I don't understand why). I had changed these ones but the database was created using the default values -> en_us... If I unset them it works right !! I must better study gls options ... Regards, Manel Thanks a lot, Manel Falcó SEMIC, S.A. We had this problem if the DBLANG etc. variables where different
in the current environment and the dbschemed DB.
Hope this helps
