onstat -R / LRUAGE -- Priority downgrades

Folks-- Not sure what/why exactly I am seeing a very high value under 'prioriy downgrades".. Anybody has seen this or facing this one. Any help is appreciated. I've turned on LRUAGE=1 onstat -R|tail -364 dirty, 174969 queued, 175000 total, 262144 hash buckets, 2048 buffer size start clean at 2% (of pair total) dirty, or 54 buffs dirty, stop at 1% 47062400 priority downgrades, 0 priority upgrades -------Here is the onstat -P output onstat -P|tail -5Percentages: Data 93.51 Btree 3.89 Other 2.60 ---- Version 7.31.FD5 / HPUX-11i --Danny
