Hi, v7.xx Will DBLOAD take any notice of the DBDATE enviroment variable during a load? i.e. if the load file has dates in the format MDY and DBDATE is set to DMY4 will it barf/load improperly/work fine? Or is DBDATE only for date display purposes? I noticed it affects the way results are displayed in SQL editor. Appreciate your help, E. P.

Unless all your dates occur within the first 12 days of the month, you will run into problems when you load data. -- Yours, Jonathan Leffler (Jonathan.Leffler@Informix.com) #include <disclaimer.h> Guardian of DBD::Informix v1.00.PC1 -- http://www.perl.com/CPAN "I don't suffer from insanity; I enjoy every minute of it!"

Actually, your problems will probably be more serious if all your dates are in the first 12 days of the month, because while the data will get loaded, the dates will be incorrect. DBDATE must match your data! Rudy
