Hi, We are considering web-enabling our i4gl and esql/c applications. Running on HP-UX 10.20 and using the Informix Online Dynamic Engine 7.30, these babies only work using wyse50 terminal emulation. Any pointers to the smartest route to making these applications accessible over the Net, preferably with a standard browser, will be appreciated. I'm looking for experiences & insights into similar activities, not literature on the pros and cons of different alternatives. I'm already buried knee-deep in that! :-) TIA. ____________________________________________ I'm just working here till a good fast-food job opens up.
Have you had a look at UWC ( Universal Web Connect ) ?? Failing that, try Dynamic 4GL, or 4J's ( Windows conversion tool for 4GL ) Sean DEEPAK_EXTROSS wrote in message <783n0m$fdo$1@news.xmission.com>... > >Hi, > >We are considering web-enabling our i4gl and esql/c applications. >Running on HP-UX 10.20 and using the Informix Online Dynamic Engine 7.30, >these babies only work using wyse50 terminal emulation. > >Any pointers to the smartest route to making these applications >accessible over the Net, preferably with a standard browser, will be >appreciated. > >I'm looking for experiences & insights into similar activities, not >literature on the >pros and cons of different alternatives. Also look at Querix which I believe, already has a browser enabled 4GL. Art S. Kagel
