Adding DBSpaces to Workgroupserver

I'm running a SunSolaris Server Version 2.6 with the Informix
Workgroupserver.
Actually I have a "rootdbs" on raw-device
ln -s /dev/rdsk/c0t1d0s6 /export/home/informix/dbspace/rootdbs
and I want to add a dbspace for performanceoptimizing with
ln -s /dev/rdsk/c0t1d0s5 /export/home/informix/dbspace/nextdbs1
Each case (onspaces -c -d nextdbs1 -p
/export/home/informix/dbspace/nextdbs1 -o 0 -s 1880000
nor onmonitor) get the qualified message "The chunk
'/export/home/informix/dbspace/nextdbs1' must
have owner-ID and group-ID set to informix."
I have checked this and the whole path and the rawdevice have the
correct ID's!
As a test, I have changed rootdbs and nextdbs1-entries to initialize the
database. During
initialisation (oninit -i) the ID's would be checked also. At the oninit
-i the 'nextdbs1' is
accepted!?!?

Where is my error?
Any Idea is appreciated,
Edward

Hi,
I am just guessing as the access rights seem to be ok (at least for me). May
it have to do something with the fact that one symbolic link points to
another symbolic link? I would try to do
ln -s ...../devices/pci@1f,4000/scsi@3/sd@1,0:g,raw
/export/home/informix/dbspace/nextdbs1
(linking "directly" from Informix to the device).
