Installing Informix on Sun Ultra 10

Hello all, I am trying to install informix on a Sun Ultra 10 and am encountering a problem once I try to start the engine; informix cannot attach to shared memory. The informix installation process does not fill in the SHMBASE variable like the manual says it does, and I think that is the problem. I tried setting SHMBASE to 0x0, but to no avail. Anyone out there have any idea what value I should be using or if that is the problem. btw. system is an Ultra 10, 400MHz sparc, 256mb ram, solaris 2.6 Thanks in advance! Read the release notes and update /etc/system appropriately (which does
*not* mean you have to follow exactly what it says for each number).
Ignore enable_sm_wa. Set shmsys:shminfo_shmmin=16 rather than 100.
If that is not the problem, then try 'oninit -v' to see what is
happening during the initialization.
I'm assuming you are using a current version of the server; you don't
actually say which one you are using.
