Hi,
dbaccess (and other informix tools) print the following error when started:
zhec104:/usr1/informix> dbaccess
The type of your terminal is unknown to the system
I installed a runtime version of Informix Online 7.1 on a hp 9000/735:
zhec104:/usr1/informix>uname -a
HP-UX zhec104 A.09.05 A 9000/735 2005918112 two-user license
It looks to me as if the Informix Tools can't find the
/usr1/informix/etc/termcap file. I tried using different terminals
like TERM=hp, hpterm, vt100, xterm. None was working.
Do you know what dbaccess needs to find a valid terminal (it works with
hp on an other machine)? What might be wrong with the configuration of the
informix server or the machine.
