Hi Steve,
I didn't notice the problem, but it must take longer to run
the dbschema on 5.05. There are more system tables inside the
5.05 dictionary, i.e. trigger/procedure and constraint tables.
Even if you do not have defined any of these features, Informix
has to look for this informations. Therefore it cannot be faster
than in earlier versions.
But I cannot imagine that there's a relation between the
dbschema execution time and the number of rows in a "non-system table".
