tbinit processes on 5.0

Informix Users, I have a problem that our local guru is unable to answer. I just installed Informix 5.0 on my HP-700 & INCREASED some of the kernel parameters so I could run TUXEDO. Anyway, the problem is that when I start Informix I see 6 tbinit process running. We thought that 2 is the normal. Any suggestions?
