Hallo, I installed IDS2000 (IIF-9.20.UC1-1) on Linux, then I installed I-Connect (iconn-2.30.UC1-1) with the command: rpm --install --relocate /opt/informix=$INFORMIXDIR --nodeps --replacefiles connect230uc1_linux.rpm but the with SDK240 compiled programs do not run in the i-connect - Environment: testprog: error in loading shared libraries: libifsql.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory Must I have installed the csdk package on the machine in order to run esql programs, or did I make anything incorrect? Thanks for help -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Denis Volkov (denis.volkov@start.de) Start Amadeus GmbH Germany
I had the same kind of problem on Red Hat. I had to use the ldconfig util to tell the OS where the shared libs were located... Then I could compile just fine w/ the SDK.
