Informix on DOS?

A friend of mine came over last week and he told me that they were also using informix in their office and running on DOS? I am quite new to informix and have never heard of an Informix product running on dos but he told me that their programmers compile and run informix programs under dos. Can someone tell me what product this is? I've tried searching www.informix.com but I can't find it there so I'm guessing this is an old product maybe. Anyone here know where I can get a copy of this? I frequently do overnighters in the office to keep up with our deadlines and having this at home maybe I can take most of my work and do them on weekends. I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks John Anderson

Thanks Them there was the days.... <sigh> Yup, you used to be able to get 4GL, SQL and SE on DOS, version 1.10.03... Ahhh....the mammaries... Sadly, you can't get it anywhere any more, it's not Y2K compliant and it's probably been unsupported for about a decade. -- "C'est pas parce qu'on n'a rien ''' dire qu'il faut fermer sa gueule" - Coluche
