To avoid getting this message, you could use ontape -c to continually back up
the logical logs to tape.

Or ontape -a or use the ALARMPROGRAM to archive each log file as it fills or run
onbar's log backup, etc. Basically back up the logs and they will not fill.

Increase the size of your logical logs, by adding more of them.
By default they are not big enough.
And if you don't care about your logs then set your backup device to
the null device. And you need never do logs backups again.
