Replication (CDR) error.
Hi all, I have a call in to informix support, but some one out there may be able to answer my question much faster. Replication is running on "SunOS gabriel 5.6 Generic_105181-11 sun4u sparc SUNW,Ultra-5_10" with Informix 7.31.UC2A. We are getting the following error when using the cdr list <command>. It does not matter whether <command> is server, replicate or group the error still occurs. cdr: can't fetch server SQL code -461 :Cannot open file 'csql.iem'. ISAM 0 : FOR EXAMPLE: quanta@gabriel: quanta@gabriel: cdr list server SERVER ID STATE STATUS CONNECTION CHANGED ------------------------------------------------------------------ grp1 100 Active Local grp2 200 Active Connected Jul 22 13:45:16 1999 cdr: can't fetch server SQL code -461 :Cannot open file 'csql.iem'. Try the following: cp $INFORMIXDIR/msg/en_us/0333/sql.iem $INFORMIXDIR/msg/en_us/0333/csql.iem cp $INFORMIXDIR/msg/itoxmsg.pam $INFORMIXDIR/msg/citoxmsg.pam The language/number might be different on your system, but this should get arround the problem. The basic issue is that the 'cdr' utility was built with the client SDK, not as part of the engine. That means that it is relying on some messages from the client SDK The same message exists in the non-SDK environment, but without the leading 'c'.
