Re: New Era 2.0 Training Courses?

Hi Ken, I don't know of any courses. Unless changed since I was with Informix, no courses for NewEra are in Informix's catalog. After teaching classes in NewEra and "jump starting" clients in NewEra for 2 1/2 years while at Informix, I firmly believe the best method is the "jump starting." Using the training and documentation manuals as tools and complementing those with real experiences combines the best of both worlds. While the manuals are excellent in introducing the concepts, functions, etc., they are very weak in structuring an application and helping you avoid pitfalls.
