Error 25507 with PHP3 and Apache

Hello! I'm having troble with PHP3 and Informix IDS. I'm working with two machines. On the client I have Linux Red Hat 6.0, Apache 1.3.6-7, php3.0.12, and Informix csdk 2.40. When I try to connect to my INFORMIXSERVER through an html page with PHP3 I get an error: >Warning: ifx_pconnect : E [SQLSTATE=IX 000 SQLCODE=25507] in >/home/httpd/html/nuevo.php3 on line 21 >Warning: ifx_close : 0 (type -1) is not an Informix link index in >/home/httpd/html/nuevo.php3 on line 22 these lines are: 21 $id_conn=ifx_connect("mydb@ol_tli","myuser","mypsswd"); 22 ifx_close($id_conn); The 25507 error says that I've specified an unknown service name or protocol, but I've looked tenths of times at the configuration files and I can't just figure out what's going on. This is the configuration I have on the client side: In the /etc/services file: ol_tli 1526/tcp # PHP-Informix--> lapepa In the $INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts: ol_tli ontlitcp lapepa ol_tli The server (lapepa) is a DG/UX machine (DG/UX 4.20 MU04) running IDS 7.24 UC7. There are two instances of Informix running on this server. The one I'm interested in is determined by the $ONCONFIG and $INFORMIXSERVER values (which I set properly in the PHP3 script before calling the ifx_connect function). The /etc/services in the host says: ol_shm 1527/tcp ol_tli 1526/tcp And the sqlhosts: ol_shm onipcshm lapepa ol_shm ol_tli ontlitcp lapepa ol_tli Any suggestion? Thank you! Luz._

It does not matter that the other box says ontlitcp and the Linux box says onsoctcp; they will be able to communicate. Probably!
