Graeme Did you export the previous database with a DBDATE setting different from when you are importing? This happened to me once when I mistakenly set DBDATE=DMY2/ during the export and "correctly" set it to DBDATE=MDY2/ during the import. I'm trying to use informix SE v 7.24 to import a previously exported database. I exported the previous database using SCO Opern Server 5, and Informix V 7. However, that should make no difference. The problem that I'm having is that it gives me an invalid month in date when I try and load any of the data into the newly created database. error 1205 and error 1766 cannot open olutil.iem.
