Veritas & OnBar Question MORE INFO

Hi all, Thanks to those who answered on the Veritas Question. I am unable to make it work though . If it is not possible, then Vertitas gets chucked in the bin and we get another storage Manager ( I inherited Vertias ) I seem to be doing everything they say in the books and after taking your advice. ( I was surprise I had to change the hostname of the recipient though ) Source host : celsius Destination host : kelvin Here is what I do : backup informix server 'graham' on celsius with : $ onbar -b -w -L 0 copy to kelvin:$INFORMIXDIR/etc/ixbar.99 ( The server number file ) copy to kelvin:$INFORMIXDIR/etc/sqlhosts copy to kelvin:$INFORMIXDIR/etc/onconfig.ccc_prdsoc Make sure all the chunks are there on kelvin with the correct permissions . Set INFX_BSA_CLIENT= "host X" on kelvin I then do a recovery on kelvin onbar -r -w Onbar backs up the current logs ( Salvages them ) ok , then fails when trying to find the backup to recover : ( See log ANY IDEAS ? Does anybody actually USE veritas and Onbar out there ? am I the only mad fool trying to do it ?
