-113 file is locked error during a dbexport

Hi ! On an old 7.31TD7, I run every night a "dbexport -ss mybase" that runs usually fine. But sometimes, for an unknown reason i've got theses errors : -311 - Cannot open system catalog (syscolumns). -113 - ISAM error: the file is locked Theses errors occur of course not at the beginning of the batch command but at anytime in the process ... Have you got an idea of what it occurs and how to prevent it ? Many thanx.

Hello! Usually some internal process running "inside" the engine are locking this table.... Do you have any kind of replications active??? (just a tip) One of our ER target servers is always doing dbexport fine, like this: 1) execute an cdr stop (on our idle times - no data transfers running, of course!!!) 2) put the engine into quiescent mode 3) execute the dbexport process 4) put the engine into multi-user online mode 5) execute an cdr start again That should work, in case of ER active. Another process is running that has a shared lock on the system catalog so dbexport van't acquire an exclusive lock. Maybe update statistics.
