"WordWrap" and temporary string storage

I use RDS 4.10.UC1, and I've just run into this dreaded error for the first time: > 4GL run-time error number -4518. > The 4GL program cannot allocate any more space for temporary > string storage. The long description for this error mentions 2 known causes, involving 1) function calls in string expressions, or 2) case statements. The report that is giving me this error doesn't use either of these things. It does, however, use this construction: print column 10, st.s_remarks wordwrap right margin 50 Since this is the first report that I've ever used this construction in, suspicion falls on it. And indeed, if I comment that statement out, the report no longer dies, so I'm convinced that the "wordwrap" contributes to the problem, at least. Can anyone: 1) Confirm that using "wordwrap right margin" can lead to error -4518? 2) Let me know whether it's a known bug, or something I should report to Informix? 3) Suggest an easy workaround? If it's fixed in a later update of 4.1, that would be good to know, too. I suspect I'm going to have to code my way around this, but if there's an easier alternative, that would be nice ...
