Hi folks, I'm curious to know how far some of you SE users are pushing your engines (especially concerning the number of users). We are currently running SE 5.0 on AIX w/ a 32-user license, with an unlimited license probably coming around in the near future. Our departmental processor (which currently maintains internal applications) is going to change to a university-wide processor thanks to a new purchasing system which will be available to a few thousand employees (who will sign on only if they need to requisition something). Also, future applications are planned for in the future. Of course, I'm trying to talk the powers-that-be into going w/ Online. Anyway, I'd really like to hear some words of wisdom/encouragement, horror stories, or whatever, so I know what I could possibly expect with our good 'ol SE :-) Again, current specs are: SE 5.0 (w/ 3 DB's, 300+ tables, 320+MB in size) AIX 3.2.1 (but upgrading to 3.2.5, w/ unlimited users) ISQL 4.1 I4GL 4.1 Thanks for your time & cooperation...
