Personally, i'd try rebuilding the table. If you have enough room in
your partition, and time, i'd turn logging off on the database,
exclusively lock the table, then copy from the old table to a new table
(select * from oldtable insert into newtable). Set the extents on the
new table when creating it. If you do not have room in the partition,
or cannot turn off logging on the database, or get errors using the
first method, unload the table to disk, and use dbload to create the
new table, with the error parameter set (so if you get errors it wont
barf and stop).
