Row based security

Hello. This is probally not the correct forum to address this question... but I don't know were else to look. Does anyone know if Informix (or any commercial RDBMS for that mattter) provides for access control (security) on a row basis? I use Informix Online 4.1 with ESQL/C and ISQL ... as far as I can tell security is provided on a database and table basis. I've heard about SQL2 providing further features such as column selectable security (heard SYBASE has it now) but have not been able to determine if security can be provided on a *row* basis.
