Performance comparison btn Informix and SQL Server

Thanks for all the suggestions, I will try them out, and give a summary about the results. P.S. One small question I have now is: optimizing one query brings another one down! :-( At least I have one query which takes double so long as it took before I run UPDATE STATISTICS.

Post the query, the schemas of the tables involved (ie dbschema/myschema output), and the output from SET EXPLAIN ON when you run the query. Art S. Kagel
