Optimizing table parameters in a Baan/Informix environment

Hello, can anybody help me how to optimize the table parameters in the inf_storage in a Baan/Informix environment? How can I get the number of extents and size of the tables and how do I have to set the parameters in the inf_storage according to these values? Any help is appreciated.
