Re: Problem with input statement on HP

Hi, It sounds like you're using 4.12.UE1. The fix is to upgrade to 4.13.UD1. (Or, you could conceivably be using 6.00.UE1, in which case the upgrade is to 6.01.UD1). Please quote the version of your software when asking any question like this. It sounds like a bug we did get fixed in the later releases. B30531: DURING INPUT STATEMENT THE FIRST NUMBER ENTERED WILL APPEAR ON THE FIRST LINE INSTEAD OF IN THE FIELD. The INPUT statement correctly places the cursor in the designated field and waits for input. The first number entered in the field appears on the first line of the screen, not in the field. When the ACCEPT key is pressed, the correct value is placed in the variable. Affected by PICTURE attribute in form. Subsequent characters are displayed properly. }Instructions to display the shipment ID variable to the form field work }properly. The problem only seems to occur in the input statement.
