send sql statement at connection

Hi, I have a problem while using crystal report(8.5) on IDS 9.2 : crystal report is unable to run on locked selected data. i'm searching for an issue : my first idea was to send an sql statement in crystal report ( let lock mode to wait or change isolation to dirty read) but crystal is unable to do that. an other idea would be to make the IDS server execute these sql statements when a crystal report connection is detected but to do this Ids have to detect a crystal report connection and to execute a sql statement/SPL procedure (Crystal use a specific odbc , is it possible to identify it at connection) any idea ??
