Hi all, I'm trying to create a synonym for a table on another DBSERVER. But I get the Error -908. What is the problem? My statement: create synonym ast_d211 for zsa@RM0306:'informix'.ast_d211; Is the dbservername case-sensitive? In sqlhosts-file the entry seems correct. We can connect to the database zsa@RM0306 via dbaccess without any problem. TIA aglef PS: Sorry for my bad and confused germisch

I had the same problems couple months back. Server name is case sensitive.
