It would appear that you do not have the necessary privileges to
give the other user the privileges you tried to give. DB-Access
is as good a tool as any other for the job. You probably aren't
logged in as the table owner. If you're a DBA, you can use the
'AS username' clause to grant table privileges as if you were the
table owner (or other suitably privileged user).
The GRANT CONNECT, GRANT RESOURCE, GRANT DBA privileges require
DBA privileges.

Hi,
Can we use the GRANT CONNECT, GRANT RESOURCE to another linux user using
the dbaccess utility. I tried using it in dbaccess but I got an error
message coming out.

Am I doing or using the right thing to do it.
