HCL Informix vs. IBM Informix

I'm just mildly unclear on what is happening with Informix. Is IBM in process of slow-motion divestment? I now see a mix of references to the product. For example, for AWS, I see "HCL Informix". Also, tech support comes from HCL. But, I still see references to "IBM Informix". Who actually owns Informix, now? I expect I don't really follow this as closely as I ought. I just use the product-- and occasionally notice other details. It just doesn't seem clear to me what is happening with respect to IBM and Informix. I do think IBM has always (from day 0 of the acquisition) been uncomfortable and "double-minded" regarding Informix. Maybe they are looking for (and found) a smooth way out. DG

Downloaded 12.10.FC12 today. Noticed that the copyright notices are now listed as HCL and not IBM.
