SET c1 = c1 * 2 This ranks as one of the more esoteric SQL requests I have seen... Cheers Serge -- Serge Rielau DB2 Solutions Development IBM Toronto Lab

Can I use a life-line? Anyway now I learned a new word as well as some I4GL trivia. I can sleep through the rest of the day. I mean, you get some old data from the mainframe which is all caps. So you lower() the data and then upshift the starting character. I mean Ian looks much nicer than IAN. -G _________________________________________________________________ http://liveearth.msn.com
