Can I audit row updates with onaudit

I know I can add UPRW to the _require or user masks. When I do I get an entry
in the logfile like:
ONLN|2009-10-06
13:56:54.000|168.178.104.29|-1|psdev1|informix|0:UPRW:uhpmdcs:244:24117536:872:2
4117536:872
What I need to know is if there is anyway to see what was changed? Can I use
the above information to figure out what the table.row before and after values
are? Is this possible/practical with onaudit or should I be looking elsewhere?
I'm thinking that an update trigger might be a better option.
Thanks
Hi
Please see www.lintel.co.uk/infotrace. No need for triggers so long as your
database is logged.

An update trigger is probably the way to go, auditing isn't meant for tracking
the before and after images of rows

Assuming you have a logging database, for insert, updates and deletes
you can search your logical logs (using onlog) for the specific
modifications.
The logical logs contain the data that was modified.
If you want to see the data that was selected, then you will need to use
Point
in Time Table Level Restore and restore the table to the time when the
user selected the data and view the records.
