Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hello,
We have also the same problem with Turkish char.'s
If you don't need to sort char. fields according to use your alphabet
order I can say that you should set the environment var.'s as =
CLIENT_LOCALE=3Den_us.1252@dict
DB_LOCALE=3Den_us.1252@dictDBLANG=3Den_us.1252@dict
For the tools run on Windows like Database Explorer the values of those
are got from registry set via SETNET utility, for DBACCESS they are got
from system environment.
If you also want to sort according to your language you should use the
locales of your own like de_de??? found in $INFORMIXDIR\\gls\\lc11.
Hoping this would help...
