Making one a function of the } other won't help. } } Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I had an application with eight separate programs running symultaneously, using one table for synchronization, etc. This is also a robust way to provide for over-all process restart after a failure. The "memory" of where you were in the process stays in the DB even when comm-links drop or program abends occur. Regards, Alan -- R.
