Using onbar and ADSM to copy data from another Instance

We need to restore Informix objects from an onbar backup taken on another AIX host server (and another Informix instance). The Informix and ADSM documentation does not clearly state how to do this. Can anyone help me? The Informix documentation states that we must use a whole system backup for this type of restore. The disk configuration and logical links to raw disk space are the same on both servers. My questions are: 1. How do I tell onbar and ADSM that I want another server/instance backup? Do I copy the the following files from the other instance: * ixbar.<server-number> * oncfg.${INFORMIXSERVER}.<server-number> 2. Will ADSM allow one host machine to read another host's backup? Do I need to do anything special to grant this access? 3. Can I restore all dbspaces including sysmaster and sysutils? 4. What else do I need to do or consider?
