we are running 7.30 on hpux 10.20 when i try to create an index on a large (for us) table of 500,000 rows, replication stops and the online.log says to recreate the index on the primary server but that just has the same effect (i.e. replication stops and recreate index on primary server...) how do i create an index on large tables (some have 7,000,000 rows) with replication going? what steps do i need to take. Thanks in advance, James Paul jhp@awips1.abrfc.noaa.gov Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. Learn what you don't.

You will need lots and lots of logical and physical log space. >Thanks in advance, > >James Paul >jhp@awips1.abrfc.noaa.gov > > >Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ >Share what you know.
