Re: I/O write () chunk 1

You potentially have a bad disk, there was a posting about this recently. Basically online has attempted to write to the disk and failed. (errno 5). If it is happening repeatedly, then the only suggestion is to get a new disk. The only other suggestion I have, and its just a guess so I don't put any guarantees on accuracy, is this: If the partition is raw, and you have other filesystems/partitions on the same disk, could it be that you have your offsets wrong and something is overwriting your online segment? Since I have never personally tested what happens when you have your chunks alligned incorrectly, I cannot say for sure what errors you are going to see.
