Yup agreed - that's what I've recommended to the user.
Thanks everyone for the help - and I have indeed persuaded someone in
development to consider looking at Aubit (although it doesn't help that
the first hit found on google points to www.4glworks.com, which is
defunct) & SQSL.
Possible result!

Use Perl + DBD/DBI-Informix instead!
