Maintaining Databases.

I am looking for someone to give me some information (how unusual for a newsgroup). The database I am using - 200 tables, 2.1 million rows - has not had any maintenance run on it since it was brought online 18 months ago. Whilst it is not causing a problem I would appreciate any info relating to anything I can do to check integrity (DBCHECK??) and hopefully speed up if possible (it seems to be getting slower!).
