Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.

Hi there, I want to shutdown and restart my database server 7.30 on
solaris 2.6. Therefore I have a cronjob:
INFORMIXDIR=/export/home/informix
export INFORMIXDIR
INFORMIXSERVER=ol_sun1
export INFORMIXSERVER
PATH=/export/home/informix:.:/usr/bin::/export/home/informix/bin:/usr/sbin
export PATH
onmode -ky
~
Next day I get a mail:
Your "cron" job on sun1
* /export/home/informix/cron/informix_down produced the following
output: sh: 4gl_install: execute permission denied
What`s wrong ??

You'd post your whole sh script. I don't think the 4gl_install would run by
itself without referenced by your script.
