Problem of Performance

Hi all:
I at the moment have problems with my database server (SBD) INFORMIX. Of a
little while to another one the parametros of the exit: onstat - p has
changed radically. This SBD I have it in production reason why modifying
parametros online necessarily pushes to me to reinitiate the instance which
I CANNOT DO IT at the moment. It wanted that they help me with some
recommendation that I can do online and improve the performance without
sifnigique to reinitiate the instance.

$ onstat -p

Query sysmaster:syssessprof. Find which session are doing most buffered reads... Run the sql from these sessions with set explain on and find if they are using indexes... and the right indexes exist... Get Art Kagel's utils2_ak from www.iiug.org Software Section and run it to do the right update statistics... Check OPTCOMPIND..if it = 2 you may be able to set it at a session level via a SET command (?) to get index usage back again..
