possible to initialise raw device ???

Hi guys, I would like to re-organise my dbspaces, currently I have 10 dbspaces, but some dbspaces have many chunks allocated after many data insertion done. I would like to do dbexport, re-calculate the required chunk size, and dbimport again. I have no problem with dbexport & dbimport. But, I would like to know is there any way to initialize my raw device (means without dropping the tables, dropping dbspaces, dropping chunks, all these steps), so that I will get back the brand new blank raw device for me to re-allocate the chunks for my dbspaces. Anyone know the quick way for this ??? Thanks.
