Re: INFORMIX/INGRES

Praxis International (web site: http://www.praxisint.com ) offers two
products that move data from, among other DBMS pairs, Informix to
Ingres: OmniCopy automates the movement of snapshot copies over a
network (this can be scheduled for one-time, or periodic unattended
operation). OmniReplicator replicates changed data from Informix to
Ingres.
Praxis' OmniEnteprise products do not currently move data in the other
direction (i.e., Ingres to Informix) but they offer a software
development kit for do-it-yourselfers.
