Sr. Performance Engineer at Intel in California

Requirements: Extensive experience in development and setup of Client/Server applications and environments with emphasis on MS Windows NT/Microsoft SQL-Server/Intel Architecture. Extensive experience in the following: C/C++, SQL, Transac-SQL, DB-Library is required. Candidate must be familiar with the Intel Software Architecture and must have experience in developing C/S applications with emphasis on maximizing performance. Professional programming experience on DOS, Windows/Windows NT is a must. Candidate must be familiar with basic concepts in performance evaluation and modeling of computer systems. Extensive knowledge of Windows/Windows NT internals is a plus. BS/MS CS/EE 5-10 years of experience in development of Client/Server systems. Responsibilities: Develop, measure and analyze the performance of, SQL-based client/server applications. Setup Client/server environment for measuring and analyzing the performance of servers running Microsoft Windows NT/Microsoft SQL-Server. Collect and analyze performance data on C/S systems when running in the Intel Architecture. Candidates must be US Citizen, permanent resident, asylee or of refugee status.
