They have a dynamic opportunity for someone who likes to work in an advanced technology/progressive environment. Your responsibilities will be to implement, integrate and support information systems. Be on a project team working with network engineers, systems analysts and operations responsible for various projects. Be focused on the computing platform that will run SAP, Notes and other software applications. Configure the platforms and o.s., database engines, application installs and upgrades as well as the overall systems capacity and performance. Create automated scripts and procedures for new systems. Be responsible for all systems administration and support and projects and systems of moderate to high complexity. Manage you own project task a ssignments and due dates. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: **Primary systems administration b/g-2+ separate core business info. Systems w/ 200+ users. **Installed and integrated 3+ info systems -100+ end users **Systems and end user support in a large networked environment TECHNICAL SKILLS NEEDED: * Able to work with various o.s.-Unix, OS/2, Windows, Dos, Mac ... * RDBMS Exp. (Informix preferred, Sybase/Oracle okay) * Strong attention to detail, PC skills, research and documentation skills * Able to program interactive and background scripts and batch files * Able to apply performance tuning and capacity planning techniques- performance measurement, data collection and analysis, kernel building...
