OWS 7.22 Lang.Support

Hello World! I am just new at Informix 7.2 ! We have an SE 7.22 at HP-UX 10.x and and OWS 7.22 at Windows-NT 4.0 AND I ONLY WANTED TO PUT SOME GERMAN CHARACTERS INTO THE DB !!!!! ( i am german :-> ) But it told me always, that these characters are invalid. I have some problems with Informix-Language Support GLS or NLS , havn't I ? So!
