RE: AIX and Informix

I use AIX 5.1 and IDS 9.4 to house 500GB of spatial raster data; 115k+ rows x 80k+ columns. I have not had any OS, IDS or hardware problems since the box was put into production over 3 years ago. I must admit I did have a logical log backup problem, but that was due to operator error; incorrect value of LTAPEDEV in onconfig.
