Alberto, Informix Ace Report can be configured to print table columns in a "veriable text" file ready for "Mail Merge" commands in most word processing programs. The secret here is to configure the ace report to include the end of record character used by your word processor to identify each group of records. Then create the master text file for the body of the letter, this should include the special field identifiers for each table column when the variable text file is merged with master text file. Next, an ace report can be configured to print self sticking mailing labelsr sorted in the same order as the variable text file (above), and print on tractor fed label stock. The other alternative is to create a form letter with a word processor, within the letter include the table column names, run the report calling the form letter within the report as a file, and printing the letters with all the inserted table columns. This of course dose not cover the address labels, this would have to be done as stated above. I operate on an Intel 310 Xenix box; with Intel Xenix 3.5 O.S.; Informix 3.3, SQL 2.10, 4GL 1.10; Lyix 3.3 word processing from the Santa Cruz Operation, Santa Cruz, CA. Hope this helps in some small way. Good Luck. Michael S.
