We run OnLine 7.10 on SCO 3.2.4.2 on a Pentium 100 with 64Mb memory. Although your machine is smaller and the engine older you may get some ideas from our /etc/conf/cf.d/stune file. (Don't modify this file directly, but use the usual sysadmsh menues to do it.) Of course you don't need to set all these parameters simply to make OnLine run. Several are related to TCP/IP and other parts of the kernel that are not strictly necessary. Some of these values are black art to me. Some has to be set far outside the recomended values from SCO so you get nasty error messages when you relink the kernel. You have to ignore them and see if your machine still runs. In our case we also had to modify several parameters that where not mentioned in the release notes from Informix, and set some that where mentioned to significantly different values. Obviously noone at Informix (or SCO) realy bother too much about assembling realy usefull information on this important area.
